Krakow and Lviv in European Civilisation

The participants of the conference included a whole array of great specialists: historians, art historians and intellectuals from Austria, Poland and Ukraine. During the first day the development problems faced by Cracow and Lviv during the Middle Ages and after were discussed. The topics of the presentations focused around the most significant issues and phenomena in history, art, economics and politics, which shaped both Central European metropolises.
